We couldn’t be more pleased with The Dover School and all it has to offer! It was our long-time dream to move to Vermont full-time for a better quality of life and The Dover School is now a major part of that dream come true.
It’s an amazing setting for children, currently in pre-K and second grade. The teachers are top-notch and highly skilled. Class size is small for individualized attention. The learning techniques and technologies are cutting edge. Children are served fresh meals made with vegetables from the school’s garden every day.
Principal Anton is a phenomenal role model and takes sincere interest in each and every student. The Dover community, which includes the faculty and staff, is simply amazing and made us feel welcome from the very beginning.
We love Vermont for so many reasons and The Dover School is at the top of that list.

Our family chose the Dover area when relocating from Pennsylvania specifically to enroll our daughter in The Dover School. The small class sizes allow for a unique teacher and student relationship. Having come from a larger public school system, we were attracted to the sense of community which this school exemplifies.
The Dover School offers opportunities unlike any public school we've known: school ski days, snowshoeing, outdoor class time, foreign language, and the amazing weekly "School Sing" for parents to become interactive in their children's learning experience through music and fellowship.

We moved here to Dover,Vermont from Long Island, New York 4 years ago. We have 3 boys,2 already graduated from Dover elementary school.
It have been a wonderful experience,this school has so much to offer..From the amazing staff,the ski school program,the hands on school trips to the after-school program. The largest classroom is 17 kids,Pre-k to 6Th grade..
Living in Dover you have a choice of Middle school and High school,our oldest goes to Burr and Burton in Manchester and our middle son goes to Twin Valley middle school,youngest is still in Dover..We couldn't ask for anything better than Dover elementry school ,it is a welcoming and Friendly school. Also has the highest school testing scores.
Dover Vermont is tranquil,picturesque and friendly.An amazing place to raise children!
