Another successful Mt. Snow program

posted Mar 16, 2017, 7:26 PM by Matt Martyn
Hi all,

Well it was certainly a year for being on the mountain in interesting weather! We had powder, ice, and pretty much everything in between. And, of course, lots of wind (it seemed like almost every week was windy!)

But the kids showed the great Dover School spirit we love and kept positive and had a good time.  Yay Dover kids! We have some good athletes and good citizens here.

A big heartfelt thank you to all the Dover School staff and parents: everyone did their part whether it was getting paperwork in on time, sending snacks, making sure kids showed up with ski gear, and of course special thanks go to those who were able to show up week after week to schlep skis, snacks, and kids around (and maybe even ski a little). It's a community effort and every little bit helps!

We got (most) of the kiddos rounded up at recess today for an appropriately chilly photo; here it is! At least some of them are looking at the camera...Which pretty sums up the character of the Winter Sports program!!

Still thinking snow (powder day next Wednesday anyone? Wouldn't that figure),

Meg

p.s. Whoever wants to run the program for next year, I saved all the spreadsheets in Drive so it will be super easy! You know you want to!!
