Dear Pre-K Families,
We will be seeing a storyteller today as a special event sponsored by the Dover School Student Council.
The primary grades are doing a project called “100 Acts of Kindness” to celebrate the 100th day of school and this connects with our annual Valentine’s Day tea party which focuses on the importance of manners. I’m sending home two hearts. When you notice your child doing anything kind, such as helping a sibling, cleaning up a mess they did not make or another generous act, please write it down on the heart and we will put in on the bulletin board in the front hall.
I’m sending home a book about animal tracks that is an easy read. Most of the words are the same and the children can use the picture clues to read the one word which changes on each page. I thought it might be a nice family activity that would be fun when you are spending time outside. You can look for animal tracks and use the book to reference what they are…just a nice home- school connection.
Have a great week end,Carrie Dix
