In our class, we have a daily current events period.  Not only do the students gain awareness of local, national and international news and geography but they used reading and listening comprehension skills.  The following is the schedule of the students current events days:

Monday:  Colette, Azure and Sarah

Tuesday:  Aashna, Zach, Jake and Natalia

Wednesday:  Greg E., Erica, and Sam

Thursday:  Teya, Dale and Amelia

Friday: Chris, theresa and Gregory H.

Students need to bring in a news article or notes about news they have gotten from radio, TV or internet.
