Dear Third Graders and Parents,

     Welcome to Grade 3!  Sometimes students like to have their own supplies instead of sharing classroom items.  This list contains useful items and a few extras, if possible, to use in third grade.  It is also helpful to restock in January or February as things are used.  Don't worry if you don't have everything by the first day of school as the classroom has many basics needed.

     Useful

     Extras

     Don't forget that the third grade classroom is way at the end of the hallway across from the Music Room.  We get a lot of exercise going to and from our room!

The Third Grade Citizenship Award for April was presented to Emma.

Homework Awards for March go to Kindyl, Leah, and Kaitlyn.

Annual Fitness Day - Abby and Scott will be going with Mrs. Johnson and other Dover School students to participate in fitness activities with other area schools.

The last book order of the year is due on Friday, May 28th.

It is an Inservice Day for teachers on Friday, May 28th.  Students will be dismissed at noon.  Lunch will be served.

It's midyear and school supplies are starting to run low!  Please check with your child to see if they need to restock anything (pencils, markers, glue sticks or other helpful items).  Thanks!

REMINDER:  Please send a note to Miss Spidell if your child's daily schedule concerning going home is changing.  It is much easier to know early in the morning rather than at the end of the day when it is more hectic.  Thank you!

Please sign your child's homework calendar after they have completed their assignments.  Nightly reading of at least 15 minutes is part of their homework.  A weekly spelling list is sent home on Mondays.
